Ryan Brain races his Formula 125 bikeRyan began his racing career in 2007 aged 10, racing on Minimotos which are miniature Grand Prix racing motorcycles, Ryan reached speeds of over50mph. Racing minimotos gives an excellent grounding for Moto GP racing - ask Rossi. Its all there, the last minute mechanical adjustments in the pit lane, the cranked over, knee sliding turns, the flat out straights and the battles to overtake up the inside. Its competitive, its fast and its fun.

Ryan then moved up to a Conti 80 which introduced him to full sized circuits. He won the EMRA championship in 2009.

In 2010 Ryan moved up to a F125 and was racing with North Gloucester, EMRA and Derby Phoenix on a range of full sized tracks. Unfortunately a crash at Oulton Park left him with a broken wrist and he was unable to complete the season.
